TEAM WORKSHOPS

Group workshops can be an effective way to bring a team of professionals together to enhance learning, collaboration, and camaraderie.  Whether as a stand alone event or as part of a larger training initiative, Passons Consulting can lead the group through an interactive session (virtual or in-person) to facilitate improved communication and maximize team performance.  Topics are varied and the experience is customized to each unique group.

Discover Your Strengths (for Teams)

The Discover Your Strengths team workshop is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of Strengths-based development. In this fun and interactive session, each person will be able to identify and understand his or her own unique combination of talents (Top 5) to maximize personal effectiveness and performance. Participants will address strategies and challenges associated with developing in their roles, as well as understanding the unique dynamics of their team’s collective talents.

As part of this workshop, participants will be reviewing their results from the StrengthsFinder, an online assessment that measures a person’s natural talents within 34 themes, then identifies the Top 5 most dominant themes (areas of strength) for an individual. By revealing the ways in which each person most naturally thinks, feels, and behaves, StrengthsFinder helps individuals discover and build upon the areas in which they have the most potential to develop and succeed.

Strengths-Based Development (For Managers)

This workshop is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of Strengths-based development as it applies to managing people. In this session, each person will learn and understand how to relate to and coach team members based on each individual’s talent combination. Participants will learn the language of StrengthsFinder’s 34 themes of talent, and gain practice in how to leverage each strength to maximize individual performance and team productivity.

Effective Communication and Relationship Building

Our personalities impact our natural communication style. How do you influence a group, build strong relationships, and navigate conflict situations based on your unique perspective and personality? This workshop will discuss various communication styles based on each person’s Strengths, style, emotional intelligence, and even generational differences. In this highly interactive session, participants will gain practical skills to help effectively deliver their message and bridge any communication gaps.

Building Your Leadership Brand

What is your “personal brand”? What do you want to be known for? Do your co-workers perceive you the way you want to be perceived? In this session, participants will gain a greater understanding of themselves, their talents, and their unique professional or leadership brand. Through interactive exercises and group discussion, we will explore the ways in which our actions and behaviors impact those around us, sometimes with unintended consequences. Learn how to create and manage your brand by design rather than by default, and enhance your professional relationships and performance as a result.

Optimizing Motivation and Engagement

Motivation is very individual, and what energizes and excites one person may be uninteresting or even de-motivating to another. This workshop will define the concept of motivation, identify the rational and emotional drivers for motivation and engagement, and explore the different types of motivators that keep us engaged at work. You may be surprised to learn that for most people, motivation goes beyond promotion, pay, and title! Through fun and interactive exercises, learn how to identify your own key drivers of engagement so you can begin maximize your motivation at work every day.

Great Manager Academy

This 2-day workshop will help participants learn what the world’s greatest managers and leaders do differently in order to maximize individual and team performance. In this session, participants will gain a greater understanding of themselves, their talents, and their management style. The workshop will help managers discover new concepts, strategies, and tools that will help each person increase engagement and boost team performance. Key takeaways:
